One of my favorite parts about national parks is that they’re for everyone. At a national park, you’ll find a trail that takes technical gear and a lot of experience, but also a paved path that you can wander along no matter your physical ability.
Maddie joined Washington’s National Park Fund as the Development Manager in August 2026. She is mission-driven and passionate about supporting Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
Maddie has been in the Pacific Northwest since she moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2019. She fell in love with the diverse, natural beauty of this region as she moved from Eugene to Whidbey Island and, finally, to Seattle. Her connection to Washington’s national parks started just one week after moving to Seattle on a camping trip to Mount Rainier National Park. From that moment on, Washington has been where she wants to be.
Originally from the greater Philadelphia area, Maddie earned her B.A. in Public Policy, Nonprofit Management from the University of Maryland and brings more than eight years of nonprofit fundraising experience to Washington’s National Park Fund.
