Engineering Leadership Consultant
Board of Directors
Washington boasts an incredible diversity of landscapes and ecosystems, much of which is represented in its three national parks. Living in Washington is an amazing privilege, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back and pay it forward so we can preserve our natural spaces for generations to come.
Julia is a Pacific Northwest native with the outdoors in her blood. She grew up camping, hiking, and skiing in the region and has long had a deep passion for environmental conservation, as well as a profound appreciation for the amazing diversity that Washington State holds, including its three crown jewels of National Parks. She has had the great fortune to continue living in the Pacific Northwest, where she pursued a career in technology and software, and raised a family.
Julia is currently semi-retired, moving into consulting to allow more time for volunteering, travel, and spending time outdoors. She works professionally as an Engineering Leadership Consultant, helping technology leaders and organizations grow and scale to the next level. She pivoted from over 30 years of building software and leading teams to now helping leaders and organizations grow their own software and technology teams to the next level, as well as providing due diligence assessments for mergers and acquisitions.
In joining the board of the Washington National Parks Fund, she looks forward to giving back to the crown jewels of Washington and doubling down on her love of the outdoors and her commitment to conservation.
