Vice President, Brightwheel
Board of Directors
In every walk with nature one receives far more than (s)he seeks. –John Muir
Ayesha was born in Washington and was first exposed to the region’s national parks through family trips camping and hiking near Mount Rainier and the North Cascades. As an adult, a multi-week family trip to visit all of Utah’s national parks was a defining experience where she built a strong appreciation and gratitude for America’s national parks. After becoming a mother, Ayesha moved to Seattle to plant roots in the Pacific Northwest and raise a family in a part of the country where outdoor activities are abundant, and breathtaking nature is at her doorstep.
Ayesha is a Vice President at Brightwheel where she focuses on delivering high-quality curriculum to preschools and child care centers across the country. She has over 20 years of experience in high-growth companies, including 15 years at Amazon where she led multiple retail businesses.
Outside of work, Ayesha enjoys boating, hiking and skiing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest’s mountains and waterways. Ayesha is excited to join the Washington’s National Park Fund Board of Directors. She is looking forward to working on ways to protect Washington’s three beloved national parks and help future generations experience the beauty and uniqueness of these natural environments.
