In addition to Board Treasurer, Kelly serves as Chair of the Finance Committee.

Kelly grew up exploring the United States with her parents and three brothers in a Winnebago from their home base in Indianapolis, which fostered in her a deep appreciation for the wild places in our country. In 2008, Kelly and her partner visited the North Cascades on a whim and quickly fell in love with the mountains and volcanoes of Washington. After five years of dreaming and planning, they moved from Boston to Seattle and have since spent countless weekends ski touring, hiking and climbing in our national parks.

Kelly has worked in the nonprofit sector since 2007, where she has led numerous kitchen and farm based educational programs. She likes wearing many hats and has designed curriculum, led classes and workshops, managed donor relations, established community partnerships, and worked closely with advisory boards and boards of directors to set strategy. She is currently the Executive Director of the Beecher’s Foundation in Seattle, and is excited to join the WNPF Board of Directors where she can combine her experience in the nonprofit world with her love of the outdoors.
