Drive Support for the Parks

When you purchase a Washington National Park license plate for your vehicle, motorcycle, trailer or motorhome, $28 of your actual cost is given to Washington’s National Park Fund to support Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.

More than 10,000 registered national park license plates are on Washington roads and the number continues to grow every day. Thanks to our incredible supporters sporting these special plates, nearly $2 million has been raised for the parks through this program.

History of Our Plate

In November 2005, WNPF joined the special license plate program and held an online auction for the first 25 national park plates. Opening bids started at $200 per plate, and some went up to $1,000! Keep an eye out: many of the original plates are still in use today.
