Kirk Myers

Former Director of Sustainability, Alaska Airlines

Board of Directors

Our National Parks embody the best of our state: mountains, ocean, and everything in-between. Future generations of all Washingtonians–including my own sons–deserve to find their own solace or adventure in them. I’m lucky to be able to raise awareness and funding for these iconic landscapes.

Kirk Myers served as the Director of Sustainability for Alaska Airlines. He led Alaska’s sustainability strategy, initiatives, goals, metrics and communication to advance corporate goals for environmental and social impact, and specifically focused on climate, waste, green building and aviation-specific opportunities such as sustainable aviation jet fuel. He joined Alaska after a 16-year career with REI, including the WNPF Climb for a Cause of Mount Rainier in 2016. Kirk holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from Bainbridge Graduate Institute (now Presidio Graduate School) and loves exploring our iconic National Parks with his two young sons.
