When I first stepped foot in Washington’s national parks, I felt like I was coming home to a place I didn’t know was waiting for me. My heart yearned to be closer to these magical places, and I listened. The parks changed my life, and I’m so grateful to be working to ensure others can experience their magic too.

Jess has a lifelong love for the outdoors, thanks to her parents who instilled a deep appreciation and respect for nature in her from her first camping trip as a toddler onwards. Originally from Pennsylvania, Jess fell in love with the Washington wilderness after visiting Olympic and Mount Rainier National Parks on a hiking vacation in 2018. She moved to the Seattle area a year later and has since spent most of her time hiking and scrambling her way around the state.

Prior to joining WNPF in December 2025, Jess spent much of her career working in the non-profit sector in administrative operations. She loves using her keen eye for detail to support mission-driven work and is thrilled to do so at an organization she cares for so deeply.
