The mountains — and in particular these three parks — have given me so much. It is time for me to give back.

In addition to Secretary of the Board, Jen serves on WNPF’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.

Jen Semsak was a city kid in Manhattan when summer camp in New Hampshire sparked her love of the outdoors.  Drawn west, her first adventure here was a solo in the Olympic’s Duckabush. She met her husband while learning to be a mountaineer on Rainier’s Nisqually Glacier. And they took their daughter on her first canoe camping trip on Ross Lake in the North Cascades.

Jen’s passion for the outdoors became her vocation, and she worked in the outdoor industry for some of the top northwest brands. With marketing, communications, and product development expertise she built brands that connect companies to their customers for employers including REI and Eddie Bauer. She’s currently lending her program and change management skills to Amazon as a senior consultant with Raining Virtue, a firm that specializes in technology integration.

Jen is energized by the opportunity to connect people to parks, ensuring a strong future for Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
