Greg Dudgeon

Superintendent, Mount Rainier National Park

Advisors

Greg Dudgeon has served as Superintendent of Mount Rainier National Park since August of 2021.

Dudgeon is no stranger to getting his boots dirty. Though his previous roles had him overseeing management of 17 national parks, preserves, monuments and national historical parks in Alaska and the Colorado Plateau, his National Park Service journey started in 1983 when he volunteered as a boat driver for a whale biologist in Glacier Bay National Park, photographing the flukes of humpback whales.

Dudgeon is passionate about creative problem-solving and leveraging funding to do even more for the park, including enhancements and improvements to well-loved park places like Paradise.
