Christian Runge is a landscape architect and principal at Mithun, an award-winning interdisciplinary design firm based in Seattle. He has a passion for inclusive design and equitable access to nature.

Christian has worked on ecological design and environmental education-driven projects across the country, including Mariposa Grove Restoration at Yosemite National Park and the Louisiana Children’s Museum at New Orleans City Park. In Washington state, he leads innovative park and educational design projects and currently serves on the ASLA national committee for biodiversity in landscape architecture.

Christian loves exploring the beautiful landscapes of Washington with his wife and two young daughters and especially enjoys hiking in North Cascades National Park.
