We don’t inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.– Chief Seattle
Sunil Shah is proud to have called Seattle home for almost 35 years and has been enchanted by all three national parks since the very first time he visited them back when. During that time, he has been an engineer, an engineering leader, an entrepreneur and an investor in the software industry.
Sunil loves the PNW outdoors for more than one reason – they are breathtakingly beautiful to explore, hike, backpack, or climb in addition to capturing them in photographs. He has summitted all the glaciated peaks multiple times and true to the spirit, has imparted the joy of outdoors to his family and with his photographic narrations, continues to inspire many others.
The quote above provides the philosophical foundation for how Sunil thinks about Washington’s beautiful national parks and outdoors, and Sunil shares, “WNPF’s mission just builds up on that.” As such, he is excited to participate in all efforts to enhance the enjoyment of our national parks for current and future generations.
