Seattle’s homegrown candle company, Good & Well Supply Co., has always had a burning passion for nature and a profound commitment to preserving the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest.
Their dedication to sustainability and love for public lands and national parks led to an amazing collaboration with Washington’s National Park Fund, resulting in a Washington national park-themed candle pack that encapsulates the essence of Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
At Good & Well, candles are more than just a home décor item; they’re a tribute to the great outdoors. Each hand-poured candle is carefully crafted to capture the essence of diverse landscapes. From the lush, ancient forests of the Olympic Peninsula all the way to the wild marshes of the Everglades, the candles in Good & Well’s National Park Collection aim to transport you to these majestic natural wonders in the comfort of your home.
Sustainability is key for Good & Well, and their candles are crafted with renewable soy wax, natural essential oils, skin-safe fragrance oils, and Forest Stewardship Council-certified balsa wood wicks. Never tested on animals, these candles are also vegan and eco-friendly. Plus, the containers they come in are recyclable and reusable.
Megan McLaughlin is the founder and owner of Good & Well Supply Co. Having felt the call of wanderlust, Megan launched the company in 2001 in hopes of making beautiful and natural handmade goods inspired by the American landscape and sharing that joy with others.
“We invite and cultivate an adventurous spirit in everything we do – from the products we make to our processes and relationships,” shares Megan. “We stay open to the changing seasons and the mystery of the wilderness.”
Motivated by a road trip that took her through dozens of national parks, Megan’s love for public lands is reflected in her work – and in her commitment to giving back to the wild places that inspire her. A proud member of 1% for the Planet, Good & Well donates 1% of annual revenue to nonprofits that “protect and conserve national parks and public lands and promote inclusion in the outdoors,” including the National Park Foundation, Wilderness Society, and Washington’s National Park Fund.
With this new collaboration candle pack, Good & Well is taking their commitment to the outdoors to the next level, celebrating the three national parks in their backyard.
The special release features three unique candles, each inspired by one of the iconic national parks in Washington. The scents have been meticulously crafted to mirror the distinct aromas and ambiance of these beloved parks.
But beyond offering a sensory journey through Washington’s national parks, this collaboration holds a deeper purpose. Good & Well has chosen to direct 5% of the proceeds from this special candle pack to Washington’s National Park Fund, supporting priority projects in the parks that inspire their candles.
As we enter the holiday giving season, Good & Well’s collaboration candle pack is a beacon of light, illuminating the awe-inspiring beauty of the national parks and inviting us all to join in their mission to protect and preserve the natural wonders that define the heart of the Pacific Northwest.
Washington’s National Park Fund is the official philanthropic partner to Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
