Don Striker has served as Superintendent of North Cascades National Park since November of 2021.

A veteran of the National Park Service with more than three decades under his belt, Striker is experienced when it comes to the challenges of a remote park having come to North Cascades National Park from Alaska’s Denali National Park and Preserve.

Striker is committed to addressing the greatest needs facing North Cascades National Park, as well as expanding its greatest opportunities, from additional research programs to increased access to remote locations like Stehekin, partnerships with tribes, and educational programs for local youth and community and school groups.
