Supporting scientific research in Mount Rainier National Park deepens our understanding of its unique ecosystems while safeguarding biodiversity. The park's flora and fauna are vital to ecological health, from pollination to predator-prey dynamics, and by allocating resources, we can play a role in bolstering the park's diverse wildlife and protecting its long-term health. Donor support helps the park engage community scientists to study species like the climate-vulnerable Cascade red fox. By sharing these discoveries, we inspire visitors to value and protect the park’s role in advancing ecological knowledge and conservation. NPS photo.
