When you purchase a Washington National Park license plate for your vehicle, motorcycle, trailer or motorhome, $28 of your actual cost is given to Washington’s National Park Fund to support Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks.
Nearly 10,000 registered national park license plates are on Washington roads and the number continues to grow every day. Thanks to our incredible supporters sporting these special plates, nearly $1.5 million has been raised for the parks through this program.

It’s easy.
Sign up at your dealership, at the DMV, or by following the instructions on the Washington State Department of Licensing website.
In November 2005, WNPF joined the program and held an online auction for the first 25 national park plates. Opening bids started at $200 per plate, and some went for more than $1,000! We know that many of you still have those same plates today. Send us photos and your stories or tag us on social media – we’d love to share them.
