Come Meet Us at the Fireside

Join Washington’s National Park Fund for one of our upcoming Fireside Circles! These enjoyable gatherings bring park friends – old and new – together with park rangers and superintendents for an evening of community building and casual conversation.

We offer two types of Fireside Circles: either join us in one of the parks, or we’ll come to you in your neighborhood. For both, meet new friends or bring your own along. Learn first-hand about park operations. Enjoy fine meals, wine, and sparkling waters, most of which is donated to help keep costs down.

Come, relax, enjoy. And please, leave your checkbooks at home – our Fireside Circles are solicitation-free zones.

Find Your Community in the Parks You Love

In-Park Fireside Circles bring people together for an overnight in Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks. Together, we learn more about challenges the parks face, work that these tireless rangers are carrying out and what’s ahead. We’ll enjoy guided hikes, talks with biologists, superintendents and rangers, and unique experiences throughout our stay.

Bring the Parks to Your Neighborhood

Bring together your neighbors, family, friends and colleagues for an evening together with WNPF and park staff. Neighborhood Fireside Circles are intimate events hosted in homes, businesses and community spaces with good food, conversation, park guests and programming prepared by us. Interested in hosting one of our Fireside Circles in your neighborhood? Let us know.

COVID-19 Update

Though COVID-19 threw a wrench in our plans, we’re very excited to bring back these popular gatherings—safely, of course—in spring 2022! Keep an eye on this page; we’ll be updating it periodically with event information. You can also stay in the loop on upcoming events by signing up for our community emails.
