In 2018 I acquired an obsession with national parks and I’m so fortunate to have three right in my backyard! I am a strong believer in the healing abilities that the outdoors provides, which is why I want to ensure that these places are welcoming and accessible for everyone for generations to come. I love advocating for our public lands and I encourage everyone to get outside.

Born in Seattle, Kacee was able to hike, camp and climb all over the Pacific Northwest from a young age. Seeing Mount Rainier up close for the first time moved her so much that she knew she wanted to work to protect outdoor spaces.

Kacee graduated from Seattle University in 2019 with a BA in Business Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Prior to joining WNPF in 2020, her interest in nonprofit work began when she helped start and direct the Camp Kesem chapter at Seattle University, which provides summer camp for kids and teens with parents diagnosed with cancer. She has also worked for local companies like REI and Eddie Bauer, as a frontline customer service specialist and an inventory strategy data assistant, which solidified her decision to work in the outdoor industry. Joining WNPF was the perfect opportunity to kick start her career and blend her passion for the outdoors and non-profit work.
