Leave Your Legacy

There are lots of ways to make a difference in Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks. Planned giving is an especially impactful way to give back. Please note that all gifts must align with our Gift Acceptance Guidelines.

Let's Work Together

Thank you for your generosity in partnering with Washington’s National Park Fund in service to our beloved Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks. While we certainly appreciate generosity in the form of current cash and stock gifts, we recognize that each donor has unique financial circumstances and objectives. We want to meet you where you are.

We have the planning resources to work with you and your professional service providers to structure a gift that is especially styled to work with your financial circumstances. We fully recognize that this may be in the form of a gift other than cash or publicly-traded securities. Perhaps…

  • We could explore together how you could benefit the parks through your estate plans
  • You would like to support the parks through contributions from your IRA or 401(k) Plan (and you are age 70 ½ or older)
  • Your primary asset is a piece of real estate or a private operating business

We understand that you may wish to retain the use or benefit of these assets during your lifetime. Know that we have some of the best people in the region standing alongside to assist when their expertise is needed. We are available to you to explore how structuring a gift that requires careful planning could meet your needs while helping to secure the future of our national parks.

Let’s explore together. Contact Laurie Ward, CEO, at laurie@wnpf.org or call (206) 623-2063.

Resources

If you’re looking to engage an advisor as you consider making a planned gift to WNPF, these are a few professionals recommended by our donors for referral only and do not represent official endorsement by WNPF.

FreeWill offers resources to prepare an uncomplicated will at no cost. Seattle Foundation has information on establishing a donor advised fund (DAF). To research estate planning professionals, the Estate Planning Council of Seattle is a great resource.

Let Us Know

We’d love to add you to our Parks Everlasting Society! Your plan administrator is not obligated to notify us so if you don’t tell us, we may not know.
