The Sahale Arm Trail is a 2.2 mile trail that traverses through high elevation meadows between Cascade Pass and the Sahale Glacier camp. Easy access and spectacular views make this the most popular alpine trail in the park. Important trail restoration work must be done annually to ensure safety and enhance the visitor’s experience.
Additional drainage devices were put into place to help reduce further trail damage. Revegetation to bare ground also helps prevent erosion and further damages. Trail segments that could not be maintained as originally located have been re-routed. Seasoned trail workers performed work on this trail to ensure the improvements withstand weather and time.
