2017 Funding Priority | Amount needed: $6,000

This project will partner with Concrete area hiking clubs and Community Health Outreach Programs to increase outdoor activities geared toward youth, family, and community programming for residents of the area. The project will develop a pilot series of four guided hikes, based on specific health and wellness topics, and integrated with natural history and conservation content. Volunteer group leaders and park staff will offer instruction and outdoor skills. Project funds will also go toward day and waist packs that will be loaned out during hikes, free water bottles for participants, and incentive items.
